Turn Tangled Threads into Tapestry

Weaving a Happier, More Connected Life

Caring, comfortable therapy for relationships and intimacy, anxiety and trauma, life transitions and more. Located in Edmonton, Alberta and online.

FOR WHEN YOU KNOW SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE

This is Therapy with Soul

Maybe you’re anxious all the time. Or maybe something’s changed in your relationship.

Maybe past trauma is getting in the way. For some reason you keep finding yourself stuck in not-so-great patterns, and you’re ready for that to change.

I provide a warm, relational, inclusive space where you can talk about the things that are difficult, uncomfortable, or complicated. We’ll look at what’s underneath the problem, make sense of what’s happening, and figure out what can be done.

This is for you if...

You’re dealing with anxiety, panic, trauma, relationship difficulties, intimacy concerns, infidelity, boundaries, communication problems, or simply the sense that you want something different from the way you’re living. You might be trying to understand yourself better, improve a relationship, recover from something that happened to you, or become more solid in who you are.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Crystal

I’m a Registered Psychologist. I work with individuals and couples using warmth, authenticity, humour, and a straightforward approach to help people make sense of what’s going on and figure out what needs to change.

I’ve worked with people from all kinds of backgrounds and walks of life, and one of the things I hear most often is that people feel comfortable with me pretty quickly — no matter what (or who) brought them into therapy. I’m particularly comfortable talking about the things that can be difficult, embarrassing, or hard to put into words, and I’ve worked with plenty of people who weren’t exactly thrilled to be in therapy in the first place.

Qualifications & Expertise

Crystal Tracy with shoulder-length wavy hair and glasses sits at a table, smiling, with a potted plant on the left and a colorful abstract painting on the wall behind her.

I believe therapy should have a generous helping of humanity in it.

There’s room here for serious conversations, uncomfortable truths, a little humour, and figuring out what needs to change — without losing sight of who you are.

I’m direct but kind.

I’ll give you realistic feedback and I won’t tip-toe around your stuff, while treating you with respect. I think those things belong together.

My undergraduate studies in cultural anthropology and Native Studies taught me to pay attention to culture, identity, history, and the different contexts people carry with them. That perspective continues to shape how I work.

I welcome people of all genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and relationship arrangements, and I believe therapy should be a place where you can be yourself without having to explain or defend who you are.
